The volunteer organization PROBAAH organized a free medical check-up camp and a complimentary eye screening camp in association with the District Blindness Control Society, Sivasagar,  at Podumoni Betonichapori Adarsha Suruj Somaj, Khatkhati G.P. The camp was inaugurated by the Honorable MLA, Nazira Sjt Debabrata Saikia sir, and also attended by former minister Dr. Hemaprova Saikia Baideo, PROBAAH adviser Mrs. Bandana Saikia, Dr. Munin Gogoi, Sri Debajit Gogoi, opthalmic assistant and other medical staff(MMU), Local prominent leaders and social workers including Mrs. Purnima Marar, Smti Kanan Kakoli Baideo, Bijoy Gogoi, Monuj Kurmi, and Chandra Buragohain were also present.

Over 140 patients benefited from the camp, and more than 86 individuals received free spectacles. Additionally, 16 patients were diagnosed with cataracts and will be provided with free cataract operations at Sivasagar by PROBAAH.
